We have what we believe is the premier location in Jindabyne, on the lake-side of McLure Circuit as you will see by our location in the town map. Rosella Townhouse has absolute lake frontage, there are no other sites between us and the lake which is only about 50 meters away across our front lawn. There is a landscaped council reserve adjoining our property and a council reserve and cycle/walking track at the end of our front lawn which is well lit at night and provides very safe walking for beautiful evening strolls by the lake.

There are no roads between our unit and the lake, nor are there any power lines - so the lake access is safe for kids and the views are unspoiled. (Many other units in Jindabyne do have these problems - we don't).
We are only about one minute's walk from Nugget's shopping plaza, the Town Centre bus station, medical centre & pharmacy, dentist, solicitors office, Post Office, Commonwealth & Westpac banks, real estate agents, Snowy River Shire council offices, many restaurants, pubs & bars, bakery, various take-away food outlets, coffee shops, two supermarkets, ski hire, service station, Mitre10 hardware, cinema, heated indoor public swimming pool and sports clubs (tennis, bowls, sailing, etc.). Jindabyne has ambulance, police and fire stations and is a very safe and secure town.
How to get to Jindabyne:
By car:
It's about a 4-5 hour drive from Sydney on the M5 motorway and (dual-carriageway) Federal Highway via Canberra the national capital, or about a 7 hour drive from Melbourne on the (dual-carriageway) Hume Hughway via Albury and the spectacular Alpine Way (check winter road conditions, see our Skiing, weather and other useful links page).
By air, bus, coach:
The Perisher Blue web site includes a location map, details of coach & flight operators and a map of the ski areas.
Rex Aviation have direct flights (recently quoted at $98) from Sydney to Cooma (Snowy Mountains Airport).
Car rental is available at Canberra (180km. from Jindabyne) and Cooma (60km. from Jindabyne).
